For the money it's a mega deal!! You can't go wrong with these, super sharp and will last ages and if you lose or damage one there very cheap to replace. Just buy one .....

Razor sharp from the off, feels great in the hand. Good fit in sheath. Usual Hultafors quality & superb value, just buy one! Or even buy 2, they're great....

Got 2 of these a few days ago @ HH'S usual lightning fast speed. Yesterday I removed the very tough handle from one, reshaped the half-tang & file-worked the spine. At the weekend I'll turn this fine piece of steel into a nice Puukko with etched blade markings & a stacked handle for a friend at work to give to his mum as a 50th. Birthday gift. How else can I get a 95mm. SS blade for only £7? A blank like this is £16 from Laurin! Hultafors/Mora et al are a great resource for the DIY knifemaker on a budget - Nice!

Hard, sharp, tough, stainless, and so cheap as to be virtually disposable. Scandinavia grind is simple to sharpen and does great work. The sheath is positive and light, the button thing isn't for me but it hangs well on my belt and would hang well, point down, from the eye on the rim of the sheath. I wouldn't recommend anything else unless you already have one of these.

My summary says it all really! Cheap and sturdy and comes pretty much razor sharp out of the box. The sheath is top draw and keeps the knife firmly place inside, there's no movement what so ever. Practical wise its good, I've used it to cut fruit and veg and after I touched up the edge it carved through them nicely.

I bought two for sea fishing on a boat - cutting line, cutting bait and gutting fish etc. Being cheap as chips, they were to be my 'borrowers' knife (Oh, I forgot mine. Can I borrow your'n?) In that environment, stainless is pretty much essential, and cheap is good too. But they seem too good for that! Great size and shape for the job in hand. Textured hand grip to resist slime-induced slips and no fancy details where said grime can collect to stink a bit later on. One came sharper than the other but both needed a few passes across a stone, a few swipes on a crock stick and now both are very sharp. The strong sheath is plastic and will survive better than a leather one (I speak from experience) and won't mind a thorough wash when the time comes. The funny clip on the sheath doesn't have to be used - you can simply slide it on a belt as usual - but it allows me to fit the sheath onto the belt of my harness where both ends of the straps have big buckles sewn on. Nice feature. I do not doubt these will give sterling service for may years and, being blue, will be easy to spot when some fool drops it into the fish box! Oh, and great HH delivery of course.

Ordered this knife, along with the Hultafors GK(Heavy Duty) as a comparison, and they came extremely quickly, as with all Heinnie orders! Great knife, very sharp, will last me a long time! Cheers HH

Fantastic knife for the money, well capable of taking the abuse I've thrown at it and more. Relatively easy to sharpen and the sheath is more than serviceable. After using in the jungle for 3 months, it's developed a few rust spots- nothing as bad as the carbon steel version though!

I have had this knife for a few months now and I am amazed at just how good it is for the price. I have used it for various jobs from splitting wood for kindling to preparing fish and game. When I go out shooting or fishing this knife is always on my belt.
