Description

Producing that troublesome second album, novel or sequel film is never easy, but the precedent is there. Think the "God Father: Part II", the "Back to the Future" films, "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, "Toy Story 2" even! The first was good but the second was even better but only as part of a series.

So when we came to design the Heinnie Haynes® Penfold 2.0 Mini we were dead set on creating a line of classic UK carry folding knives. So what's different? The stand out modification is the "cut-outs" and extra sculpting on the Titanium handle. Not only does this look superb but it helps to cut down on the weight and improve the balance. The hidden lanyard bar remains to attach a lanyard of your choice. This version is the Mini. We wanted to create an almost key ring size pen knife but with the same look and feel as the standard size. 

The blade has a enjoyed a make over too. Whilst still being made from the quite exceptional S35VN stainless steel, it now benefits from a full-flat grind which enhances the classic lines of the knife and reinforces the cutting prowess. 

The Penfold 2.0 Mini is a classic in the making, a sequel of significance.

    Due to further restrictions of the German knife law regarding carry in public I decided to get a modern non-locking pen knife with a blade length under 6 cm so I chose the Penfold 2.0 Mini. In short words: I have not regretted this decision! I like knives with titanium handles and a S35VN blade and this knife is a really little gem! Fit and finish is perfect and the blade is absolutely dead center. The backspring is relatively strong and "locks" with a secure feeling. Also it has a stop pin so the blade will not touch the backspring when closing fast. The whole design is simple but efficient. Installing a paracord lanyard was a bit "fiddly" but I finally succeeded. I can strongly recommend this knife for everyone who is looking for a small, well constructed "gentleman's knife" made from high quality materials! The delivery was as fast as possible: 4 days from UK to Germany and no customs delay. You guys at HH again did a great job. Many thanks for your efforts! I now will carry this little gem with pride!

    I love this thing. I'm a police officer and use this at work all the time, it works like a charm. It's small enough to be easily legal and non scary. It has a strong indent so feels safe to use. Would recommend.
