Cool design, difficult to handle
At £25.00 ish at the time of buying. It's forgivable that the folding mechanism is really stiff and hard to engage. But if you're looking for a flippy folder that's easy to use with one hand then look elsewhere. The copper handle scale is really beautiful and I'm sure will take on a nice patina over time. The blade steel is good and comes pretty sharp out of the box. I have loosened the square head screw a little and oiled the mechanism with some clipper oil and it moves more freely than before but it's still pretty stuff. Moving the thumb stud down half an inch with a torx driver improves leverage on the mechanism a little. The thumb stud it's self has a bit of a sharp corner on it and it doesn't grip well so you end up with a bit of pressure point on the end of your thumb with repeated use. With all that considered, I still have it down to a one handed opener with a little adjustment and technique. Decent for opening packages around the home.
