The Fallkniven DC3 and Fallkniven DC4 are a combination diamond/ceramic whetstone that will handle all your sharpening needs. These whetstones consist of a fine diamond stone (25 micron) and a very special ceramic stone, made of synthetic sapphire.
The advantage of these materials is that, over long periods of use, they will keep their flat shape which is important when sharpening your knife. And, since these materials are ultra sharp they will sharpen any steel, even the extremely hard powder steels.
You do not need to lubricate these stones, but now and then you should consider cleaning them with warm water and liquid soap. The stones might feel coarse from the start but will become smoother after some use. A leather pouch is included.

First diamond stone I’ve bought and it’s impressed me, easy to use , the leather pouch is a nice touch just put it in your pocket, edc pouch, camping/bushcraft backpack etc and you can also use the pouch as a strop, happy days

I bought this for keeping in my bag as I normally use a whetstone. I was really surprised how good it is, sharpened my EDC really well and the case can be used to strop as well . Winner.
Been on DMT stones for ages and they are good no doubt, but like the idea of ceramic and thought I’d give it a go. Really impressed, this is a good price for a two sided stone that is evidently going to last a while and yes it works on hard knives as well, have used it on a lam cos s1x and finished off with strop, razor sharp. Great bit of kit, you can get a great edge on your blade and it's small enough to fit into my knife pouch.

Works really well! One thing not in the description is the leather pouch is designed to be a strop. I put 3000 grit on the rough leather and 7000 grit on the smooth side. But put whatever you want on it. This makes it incredibly versatile.
