The ability to display a second time zone in addition to your current time, also known as a GMT function, has become one of the most popular additional functions of mechanical wristwatches in recent years. It was therefore a logical move for us to equip its successful Davosa Ternos Professional series with this sought-after function.
In the Davosa Ternos Pro GMT Automatic, a 24-hour display, the distinguishing feature of the second time zone, is displayed prominently on a rotatable diving bezel, giving the Ternos its characteristic sporty yet functional appearance.
The coloured bezel inlay is made of high-tech ceramic and is extremely scratch-resistant with a hardness (according to Vickers) of 1250 HV. It is also heat and corrosion-resistant, and proffers a fine feel thanks to a high-gloss polish. The production of these ceramic bezels is very elaborate; a great deal of expertise is required to produce the different colours in a consistent quality and colour brilliance.
The Davosa Ternos Pro GMT Automatic Black/Red Pentalink is suplied with a heavy, elegant five-link-across "Pentalink" bracelet.
