If you like stainless steel, then you’ll love the CRKT Drifter Stainless! The Drifter Stainless is a smart looking, robust feeling frame lock folder.
CRKT have equipped this knife with a brilliant 8Cr14MoV stainless steel blade complete with hollow grind and coated in a , ambidextrous thumb studs for easy opening with either the left or right hand, and a really smooth pivot making both the opening and closing of this knife really nice.
The handle is made from two sections of sand blasted stainless steel which has a grey titanium nitride finish. The knife also comes with a pocket clip included which also has the same finish as the handle.
To finish off the knife also has ample amounts of jimping on both the frame lock and top of the blade. This makes the locking mechanism really easy to disengage and the blade very easy to control.

The knife came razor sharp, great size, amazing quality. You really can't ask for a better EDC for the price. Totally worth it in my opinion.
I bought this knife for myself after some research and I’m very happy with this product which is excellent value for money, well made, very sharp and makes light work of cutting whatever it across
pros: well made nice finish smooth operation easy one handed open good lock. conns: left handed openning impeded by clip pocket clip awkward to use (rigid rather than springy) Overall, nice knife, well worth considering.
This is a fantastic knife, its one of the most comfortable I've held ever, the g10 handle just fits so snug in my hand. The build quality is superb, no play in the blade and of course it came razor sharp out of the box. For the price, I think you would struggle to find another knife this good, it has everything covered. Spyderco sure does know what the customer wants.
I got mine a couple months back and have been using it practically everyday since, its a great little folder and looks as good as it cuts. The handle is darker in person then it looks in the picture but I think it looks better. Haven't had to tighten the pivot since I've had it and just keep it stropped and it'll stay sharp for as long as you have it, couldn't recommend this knife enough!
Though I am admittedly partial to CRKT, this is one of my favourite knives. I use a knife every day at work and rotate them often but this is one of the ones I just keep coming back to. The blade is excellent. I have found that it is just a great shape for me personally and what I use my knife for. It has just a slight recurve, a decent belly and a fine enough point for good penetration. The edge doesn't last an amazing length of time, but it is nice and easy to sharpen to a razors edge. The steel handle is very nice and, though smooth, offers a surprising amount of grip and it is very comfortable to hold and work with, even for long periods of time. I am not keen on tip down pocket clips and would have liked the option to reverse it, but it doesn't bother me enough to dislike a knife. Deployment can be lighting quick and very smooth if you loosen the pivot just a touch. The lock up is one of the quietest I think I've heard and though it is quite early, it feels strong and has stood up to the test at work. This knife just works for me. It looks great and handles better. I will probably get the G10 version at some point on the strength of this one.
This is a very classy little item! I found that my one was smooth at opening the first couple of times then quite gritty thereafter. A few drops of mineral oil soon fixed that so now it's the smooth operator it was always intended to be! The clip is right-hand, tip-down carry only. I found that the thumb stud made clipping and unclipping it to my jeans quite difficult, if it were tip up carry I probably wouldn't have had this problem (being that the stud would have been further away from the clip), in the end I just took the clip off, much better. Blade shape is wonderful, stylish and functional. The knife feels pretty good in the hand and actually has some decent jimping (fine and grippy, not that huge over-exaggerated stuff that is just uncomfortable and doesn't do anything for grip (why do some manufacturers insist on doing that??)). The blade certainly deploys quickly once you get the hang of it ! One handed closing is maybe a bit more tricky/dangerous though, but that doesn't seem to stop me. Beautiful and elegant knife, I feel like it should be in one pocket of my waistcoat for formal occasions, maybe with a zippo in the other (even though I don't smoke)! 5 stars item!
Cracking little knife, sharp and well made with decent materials , solid lock up and good looking, reminds me of my Kershaw leek in some ways. At this price if you want a nice little good looking knife you can,t go wrong, I,ve a few crkt knives and they all seem well engineered decent tools for the money.
