If you like stainless steel, then you’ll love the CRKT Drifter Stainless! The Drifter Stainless is a smart looking, robust feeling frame lock folder.

CRKT have equipped this knife with a brilliant 8Cr14MoV stainless steel blade complete with hollow grind and coated in a , ambidextrous thumb studs for easy opening with either the left or right hand, and a really smooth pivot making both the opening and closing of this knife really nice.

The handle is made from two sections of sand blasted stainless steel which has a grey titanium nitride finish. The knife also comes with a pocket clip included which also has the same finish as the handle.

    Excellent value

I love this knife, it came razor sharp and as always, delivery was exceptionally fast. I'll be using this for EDC, at least till I am unable to resist the urge to get yet another blade.

Very nice little precision made folder. NB/ This photo does not seem to capture the darker scales, much better in the flesh ;)

    Top Drifter

My favorite folder. Great little EDC. I'm a long term CRKT fan, I have about 6 now and I think this is the best value. Nice comfortable feel. Easy opening. Strongly built. Nice handy size. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it didn't come very sharp.

The best small folder for the money

Posted by sapphire on 12th Aug 2010

What a great knife. Small just under 3" blade, perfect for EDC made of a great steel equivalent to AUS 8, for this price is excellent. Not that sharp out of the box though, I had to resharpen it. I like the small handle, very slick and elegant made of 2 slabs of pure aluminum, but people with large hand may have problems opening the knife because of that and lack of traction on the handle. Great, strong frame-lock. Only right handed tip down carry is a minor criticism. Overall it's the best buy

    Amazing.

Ordered with a multi tool and a couple of other items, all arrived super fast with free postage. The knife itself is very nice looking, very smooth opening, has a strong lockup and is sharp out of the box. I rang up HH 10 minutes before ordering to clarify something and they were very helpful and kind. Brilliant.

    perfect gift

Got one of these for my brother for x-mass and got it engraved. Absolutely loves it. Light weight, nice blade shape, good jimping, strong frame lock, and relatively easy to sharpen steel. Unfortunately tip down carry but as my bro isn't that particular about it it. Awesome little knife, might end up getting myself one :)
