    The One

Outstanding. It's all about the steel. Great handle, good sheath. It has a little heft to it so could easily chop. I don't like the sharpened swedge so may grind it flat. At the moment this is my number one knife.

    As good as they say.

After years of avoiding the SRK because of the hype and tacticool factor I finally gave in and got one. Pictures and videos don't give this blade justice. It's is a perfect survival or "heavy bushcraft" knife, especially after they got rid of the silly choil from the original design, this 3V version have a flat grind which also makes the tip stronger. It lays perfectly between Fallkniven S1 and A1 but with much better handle/sheath/weight/steel that doesn't chip. As much as it pains me to say, this is a perfect survival/combat/show off knife. If you are looking for something bada.s but still functional, this is it. Rambo would aprove. PS. Internet complains about too much friction in the sheath. I soaked mine in boiling water which made it soft and after it cooled down it was much better.

    Great survival tool

Posted by Darren Parry on 30th Nov 2022

Brough this on the recommendation of Rob Evans, a lovely piece of CPM-3V tool steel, big enough for rough use, small enough for precision carving and razor sharp from the box (be carefull of the clip). The only thing I would like to add is that Heinnies description is wrong, the grind is a sabre flat grind, not hollow like the San Mai and SK-5 versions.

    SRK 3V

Posted by Tristan C on 19th Jan 2022

this is an epic knife in the hand, it doesnt come across in pictures, the swedge and the spine barely show up at all. the spine is 5mm thick, the swedge is sharp on the VG10 and 3V models. the handle is more sophisticated than it looks. the sheath is identical and interchangeable between them. it is now my go to woods knife. if you put bicycle innertube over the sheath, it makes the sheath look less tactical, for domestic applications. Ive got the SK5, the VG10 and now the 3V version, in the dark, you cant tell them apart. I bought the 3V version because Heinnie had it £40 cheaper than anyone else, I thought: that must be a mistake! so I bought it.
