Description

The Civivi Buster FG is a bold and burly folding that sits towards the larger end of the Civivi collection. Designed by Snecx Tan, this striking folder brings together a hard-use Wharncliffe blade with a sharp, angular handle profile. At the business end is a 10.7cm blade made from German Nitro-V steel, with a durable blackwashed finish that shrugs off wear and tear. Tough, stainless and easy to maintain, Nitro-V is a superb all-rounder for daily cutting tasks. The Wharncliffe shape offers excellent control and power at the tip – perfect for precision and utility work alike.

The handle is made from grippy black G10 – rock solid and comfortable in hand, even under pressure. It’s built to last, with a full-sized 13.9cm frame when closed, and tips the scales at a reassuring 185g. No, it’s not a compact knife – and it’s not trying to be.

Opening is quick and simple with dual thumb studs, and it locks up with Civivi’s new Superlock mechanism – strong, smooth and reliable under load. It might sound like marketing fluff, but in use, it lives up to the name.

    This is the updated version

Posted by Gary Armstrong on 6th Dec 2025

I rang Heinnie to check if this was the new updated version with the second stop pin to stop the blade choil from hitting the stop pin when closing and the guy I spoke to wasn't sure. I decided to go for it anyway and I confirm it is definitely the new version.
