Quality
Amazing quality for the price, works really well, much better than some double the price. With the bonus of a compas and the multi tool. Outstanding service from Heinnie as usual. Thanks Heinnie.

I own a few different types of these products, but this is one of the best. To quote DC with reference too... "the 10 C's of Survivability", this is clearly an important tool to carry. But this item in particular is superior as the rod itself is constantly protected by the aluminum tube , making it totally protected no matter what happens!! When you then add in the fact you are getting the addition of a small compass you get a great bit of kit for a very small price. (But best of all, if you change the steel chain for Live Fire Firecord (paracord sold here by HH) you have 3 elements of the 10 c's in one item. . . Ie 1. Combustion 2. Compass 3, Cordage.
Lovely solid construction, looks like it would survive anything, good to keep it dry and a bargain at the price tbh. Cheers HH Ant
Had one of these but the compass needle was stuck (didn't work). Would have thought Boker Quality control would have picked up on it. Disappointing.
Very useful 3-in-1 survival tool with built in compass and map measuring scale on striker. Typical high quality German finish. Screw fit keeps fire rod dry and protected. Bit heavy but overall I think a very worthwhile and robust carry.
