A good value little blank for only £10 that makes a decent Skinner with a comfortable, safe handle. Mine was very sharp otb as was the 2nd. one I got - worth considering. The pin holes are a bit small & are best drilled out to 4mm. I also enlarged the lanyard hole to take a 6mm. Brass tube but you can just cover this if you prefer. It's a better balanced design than the other upswept Skinner blank available at the same price - see my review.
First excellent service less than 24 hour for delivery!!!! The blade looked good on casual inspection!! Attached handle after enlarging holes n handle!! When sharpening discovered de lamination of blade right on bevel of cutting edge!! Would have returned if discovered b 4 l put the handle on!!! Prob got a bad one as other reviews are good!! Will se how it holds up to general use!!! It did take a fairly good edge even with defects!!!
Very quick delivery and great service from HH, I etched the blade and I am very pleased with the final result, one small gripe, the pin holes are too small for the size and shape of the scales, easily drilled out to a bigger size so not a real issue, personal taste dictates this of course. well made, good plunge lines, I will for sure be buying more of this type of blank, thank you for a good product and a first class service.

Nice blank to work with. Edge grinde - dead in the middle (not like some high end, well known brands). I have put moose antler on handles and started re-grinding edge to different angle. And that was the most pleasant surprise. It is soooo easy to work with! After storping produced a intimidating edge. That is one bargain. I'm gonna buy the rest of these spring steel blanks series that HH have on offer. They whorth every penny. Regarding HH service - second to none. As usually.
