5.11 Stryke Trousers Charcoal

Hard wearing , smart work / casual . Tough , great selection of pockets in the right places. Got x4 pair , first two pair had for two years , just got two new pairs , Oh before I forget , you can chuck em in a bucket of soapy water wash em , dry quickly ,put em back on and go. Well good kit.

Smart looking, easy care pants with loads of stretch which is needed as these are quite a trim fit. Good pockets and sizing is dead on. I find I cannot wear these in warm weather as there is very little breathability. They become uncomfortable very quickly on me, I do run hotter than average though. Perhaps it is unfair to compare these to TAD or CP but that is what I have. Don't make the mistake of thinking you're going to get anything like the performance of those brands here at a lower cost. After using those brands for a while the 5.11 brand feels quite poor, I reckon they could do a hell of a lot better at the prices they charge considering where they knock them up.

Nice fit with a little extra give in the waist. I ordered the 34"W 32"L having read the sizing recommendations in reviews (my waist size 'floats' between 34 and 36 depending on brand). Plenty of pockets and the 'mag' dividers in the leg pockets are useful in preventing objects from moving around. Ended up getting a second pair! Haven't experienced the 'build quality' others mention. One criticism is they are not that breathable when it gets hot and sticky. As water beads off the surface I wonder if the stain resistant treatment affects vapour transmission? Excellent service from HH - ordered on Tuesday afternoon and they were delivered Wednesday morning.

Great design with fantstic storage options. I really like the comfort waist and the flex in the fabric make them really very comfortable. A couple of points - they come up very large for me in the waist (went two inches smaller). The quality of the stitching I consider poor which is a real shame! Superb service from HH re swap for smaller size!

Purchased these for wearing on canoe trips due to the fast drying material and ability to add knee pads. Used them on a three day trip recently and they performed brilliantly - torrential rain for 36 hours and didn't feel the need to put on my gore-tex trousers. Why three stars then? Well, I'm totally hacked off that the stitching has burst in 3 separate places after 3 days of use. Great design, fantastic funtionality but very poor workmanship - I'll be looking elsewhere for hard-use outdoor trousers. I'm assuming that I've been sold a faulty pair otherwise they'd get one star. By the way, these were not purchased from Heinnie, otherwise they'd be being returned.

Arrived Monday after ordering late Saturday. Although I've only worn them for a single shift I'm happy to report these trousers are a perfect fit and that this FlexTac fabric is awesome. If you wear cargo pants a lot, and you're active, these strides are amazing!

I have been wearing these trousers now for a number on months and they have had a hard life. They are still as good as new. 5.11 have designed the ultimate trouser here. The fit is sublime and the quality superb. I have several pairs and although they appear expensive. The stretch fabric is a work of genius. H/H service brilliant as always.

The...greatest...combat trouser...EVER! They fit so nice my legs go 'mmmmm'! They stretch so well my knees say 'oooh'! They hold so well the girls shout 'whoaa'! The 5.11 Stryke have moved me to poetry, I might just be in love with them. :)

Great kit, well made, hard wearing, easy to wash and dry in the field, plenty of useful pockets, and very comfortable.
