Zero Tolerance, Jens Ansø, UK legal carry, carbon fibre, Wharncliffe blade shape, CPM 20CV stainless steel...what's not to like! The Zero Tolerance Anso Slipjoint is such a classy little folder. The blade is a stylish wharncliffe design with a stonewash finish and a nail nick to open meaning it can be carried pretty much anywhere. The handle is simply two slabs of carbon fibre with a blue anodised aluminium spacer which lends a real quality aesthetic to an already stunning knife.

    Fantastic l.t.c knife

Posted by Stuart Coyne on 11th Jun 2020

Hi guys . Just want to tell you how imoressed I am about this knife. Firstly it’s a very minimalist knife that is not threatening at all but has a state of the art American version of M390 blade steel CPM 20CV. It’s has a very high vanadium carbide and chromium content so it really cuts forever with out the need for sharpening and the only different thing between bohlers M390 and Crucibles 20cv is that crucible uses particle metallurgy and booker uses powder. You may think there similar but you’d be wrong as they both use very different methods to achieve the same goal. Finer carbides and more even distribution and more control of mixtures. Therefore finer grained steel more toughness and hardness. It’s a really nice knife and weighs next to nothing due to the carbon fibre. The anodised blue aluminium spacer is a nice touch. It’s a really nice alternative to a lion steel best man or a benchmade proper. This steel is better than the upgrade benchmade proper with the S90V. If it come down to the choice of steel that decided the knife I’d buy then this would win hands down every time. I really find the lock a bit light and sticky but you have to give time for breaking in. Thank you Rich & the guys at HH for selling quality tools.

    Better than original

Posted by Roland on 9th May 2020

I love the Anso Monte Carlo, but am not willing to spend about 800 Euros for a jackknife. Therefore, I decided to buy the ZT 0230 and have never regretted doing so. The knife has the look of the Monte Carlo, but with a slightly more modern approach (CF handles, stonewashed blade). Everything has been well executed and is spot-on. There is only one point that bothers me a bit: In my opinion there is too much text on the knife blade, which reduces the otherwise clean impression of the knife a bit. Conclusion: The ZT 0230 is not an original Anso Monte Carlo, but a very good, modern looking alternative at a reasonable price.

    Fantastic Knife, even better service

    Posted by @niceslicers on 30th Apr 2020

I ordered this knife yesterday at just after 3.30pm. At 1.30pm today the postman arrived & I was totally blown away when he handed me the knife! The knife itself also blew me away, it's absolutely gorgeous. The carbon fibre is unlike any I've seen or touched before. The double ball detent system works amazingly and the sheepsfoot blade of premium steel is fantastic. Worth every penny

Outstanding quality, just a little light on the detent

Posted by Andy W on 1st Jan 2020

Bought this just before Christmas to replace a HH Isonzo that I found a little too short for my hands. Pros: - Outstanding blade steel - Great blade shape - Best in class fit-and-finish - Extremely light with beautiful carbon fibre scales Cons: - I would prefer the blade detent to be slightly more emphatic and secure Overall, simply a great knife that has evicted all others from my pocket. The blade shape and steel will happily deal with everything you'd expect from a blade this size. The light weight makes it a pleasure to carry and the handle shape makes it a pleasure to use. The only challenge is that blade will close rather easily on you if you are careless - not too much of a problem though, if you are used to slip joints and carry them on a regular basis.

    Get one

Posted by Lyn on 14th Dec 2019

Got one from K*****and****s as I needed it for Xmas. A coming soon section from HH would have allowed me to wait. Superb quality little folder. Materials, fit and finish all top quality. Anso is one of my favourite designers and this only reinforced this view. One thing to look out for, the slip joint system is very light. Remember when your dad gave you your first penknife and impressed upon you the importance of holding correctly and working away ? The 0230 needs you to be precise. It feels great to use and shaving sharp out of the box. If you want a UK legal field knife get a Spyderco UK, or Benchmade Proper. If you want an urban/suit pocket carry for me the only one to rival the 0230 is the We Knife Scamp. Highly recommended
