a great
quality product made in Thailand.
The pots are used by many survival

& instructors because of their
strength, longevity, usefulness
and ease of
cleaning. They have a notched loop
handle for hanging over a fire and
come
complete with an internal dish for
steaming or cooking in situ or
they can be
used as a plate. The pots are
supplied with a plastic removable
auto locking
system for the lid to prevent
spillage on un-even ground.

Good size if traveling solo I have it's bigger brother & this will be a useful addition. Usual great service and delivery, Recommend this item.
My first billy can and I really like it. It is well made and performs well so I do intend to buy another. larger one. But, there are a few things that let it down. The plastic clips are pointless. They only hold the lid on when the handle is upright . This means that they do not keep the lid in place in a bag and if they are used while over the fire they often melt anyway so I removed mine. I don't know why they didn't simply use steel for them. The handle is not long enough to fold under the can which makes it awkward to pack. Many people have removed it and used brake cable instead which I intend to do too.
I normally make my own billy can's out of large food tins, but i've struggled to find anything suitable this time so i bit the bullet and bought this zebra head ( 14cm version ) and i'm glad i did the quality is superb so should last for many years . Reading other reviews i can't understand why anyone would put this on a fire with the plastic clips still in place !!. Personally i can't see a reason for the clips, you would'nt want to cook with the lid locked in place as you would not be able to keep an eye on your food, and if the clips are meant to keep it all together while transporting it then the handle is in the upright position and would take up more room in your rucksack, so i'll be taking the clips off mine and leaving them off. A thumbs up to HH for getting this to me in the time specified as this was on back order, thanks : )
I wanted this for making stews etc while out in the woods ... I tried it over my fire pit last night and it was first rate. Yes I took the clips off first!! I cannot see any problems with the price and certainly the delivery cannot be bettered. Well done Heinnie!
Yet again another fantastic service from HH, ordered pm day one delivered day 2 am. I have worked in logistics for decades, I am always amazed at the delivery service HH achieve with their carriers. My respect goes out to the HH staff for their outstanding service to date. Now on to this piece of kit: I like to be relatively mobile and travel as light as possible so opted for the 1.5ltr, which I recommended to friends and colleagues. if you are looking for a bomb proof, simple cook set which can also be put straight onto an open fire or hung just above then it does not get any better than this at such a low price. Just remember to remove the plastic clips before putting on an open flame as they otherwise melt into oblivion. Bottom line a must have piece of kit for so many activities.
Mine works great. Many are envious! NB:The plastic clips are for securing it all together for transportation and NOT to be left in place when cooking! (Take note, Robert...)
Great product but £10 more than the bush craft store and I haven't even looked around for a good price, Silver plated maybe?
