William Henry’s A200 expands on their tradition of fine folding knives with a design that has a little attitude, a lot of finesse, and remarkable utility in a compact and lightweight package.
The blade is crafted from CPM 20-CV stainless steel honed to a razor edge. The frame is hand-finished aircraft grade titanium with inlaid Kirinite, an exceptionally durable polymer. Finished with a stainless clip and stainless fittings, and proudly built in the USA.
Titanium is a low density, strong, lustrous, corrosion-resistant (including sea water, aqua regia and chlorine) metal with a silver colour. It was discovered in Great Britain by William Gregor in 1791, and named by Martin Heinrich Klaproth for the Titans of Greek mythology.
William Henry uses only aerospace-grade titanium alloy for their frames, clips, and micro-fasteners. Called 6Al/4V, it is titanium with a little aluminum and vanadium added in for additional toughness and tensile strength.
