Description

The Walther Gentleman's Folder is a cracking little UK legal carry knife with some exceptional features. The handle and pocket clip are both made using Titanium, a strong and lightweight material perfectly suited to a working tool. The blade is D2 tool steel which is a hard steel capable of a seriously sharp edge which won't need sharpening very often. It is supplied with a leather pouch.

    A low-key winner

    I've had this knife for a few months already and keep coming back to it - despite having quite a few other 'big-name', UK-friendly knives. This is a lithe and slender knife - almost looking like a letter opener; but that makes it super easy to carry and manipulate - it's straight and doesn't force your grip angle. The clip is perfect and the knife sits nice and deep and unobtrusive. The knife materials are wonderful - D2 and Titanium are a great combo for strenth, sharpness and lightness. It is well made. I seriously doubt that the pouch is real leather, but I don't care as the clip is a total winner. Like the famous PPK - on which I can't help thinking this grip is based on - this knife by Walther delivers in buckets - without any hype.

    Lightweight and great

    I bought this and the Ti lionsteel thrill on the same day, and I expected to like the thrill more, and in some respects I do. The thrill's design and specs are excellent, but I have carried this much more since I bought them both. It is extremely lightweight, to the point that you won't even notice it., and the pocket clip is not a gimmick, unlike the thrill's which I hate. The knife came extremely sharp, and D2 is easy to sharpen on the fly compared to m390, Both knives are extremely similar in terms of what you can do with them, but one is heavier and more expensive, and this one is a better realisation of a very similar design philosophy, in my opinion. All in all I would actually recommend this more than the titanium thrill. This is a great, lightweight, light duty knife.

    Wghat a superb piece, D2 Ti and not sure whos put it togethr but its sombody in the know, get one and you will see what I mean
