The Vosteed Marten is a knive with a purpose. Designed for use in multiple environments and conditions, the Vosteed Marten features a contoured handle of particle anodised aluminium with micro-milled grooves for a confident and controlled yet natural grip.
The precise process of making these micro milled handles is no mean feat. During the 30-minute CNC micro-milling, each side of the handle has up to 20 grooves within 1 inch, totalling 54 per side. These grooves are angled at exactly 48° to offer exceptional traction against the natural movement of your fingers.
After the CNC, 2-3 rounds of the ultrasonic cleaning process are conducted before the anodization. This ensures an ultra-clean surface, and even the tiniest particles, oils, and impurities are removed.
Complimenting the precise handle is a low-profile pocket clip that has also had a complete redesign, skeletonised & nested liners to reduce the weight and maintain balance, and a 154CM drop point stonewashed blade. The top liner lock combines the best features of the compression based liner lock and the button lock - this too is micro-milled with groves to match the handle and proide traction.
