Victorinox Scissor Spring (x6)

These medium springs are of the latest type and fit perfectly and are a great price.

These are the older type springs. Not the new type with the little 'cam'. They fit but they do not work as smoothly as the tips of the springs are too wide to slide in the groove and that makes them sticky and pop out to the side. The tip of the spring doesn't sit in the center of the groove and sits to one side. The new springs have the same part number A3757 but with .A on the end, so A3757.A for the large size with 'cam'. .

My "Astronaut" model knife has to be at least 40 years old and the spring for the scissors has been broken for around 30 years! It was a bit of a fiddle to replace the spring but took no more than five minutes. Now the knife sports usable scissors for the first time since I was a college student.
