These are the older type springs. Not the new type with the little 'cam'. They fit but they do not work as smoothly as the tips of the springs are too wide to slide in the groove and that makes them sticky and pop out to the side. The tip of the spring doesn't sit in the center of the groove and sits to one side. The new springs have the same part number A3757 but with .A on the end, so A3757.A for the large size with 'cam'. .

My "Astronaut" model knife has to be at least 40 years old and the spring for the scissors has been broken for around 30 years! It was a bit of a fiddle to replace the spring but took no more than five minutes. Now the knife sports usable scissors for the first time since I was a college student.

There isn't too much to write about a packet of springs. But anyone who has owned a Victorinox knife will know that the scissor/plier springs are a weak point in an otherwise excellent design. I've no idea whether these are genuine Victorinox parts or not, but they look identical to the originals, are fairly easy to fit and work perfectly. Getting six in a pack is a real bonus, particularly when the pack is cheaper than a single spring from most retailers.
