Perfect for domestic and office EDC
I am a late convert to Alox. I hate T&T so it makes sense. I already have the Pioneer which I consider the perfect urban EDC compromise, that is legality, loadout and weight. I use the Farmer for more rural EDC. The Pioneer-X I consider to be the perfect domestic and office EDC where the scissors are useful and the blade shape is generally considered non-threatening. Previously on my desk I used a Tech-Tool 5, finding that the scissors and awl were the most frequently used tools. The Pioneer-X has both (plus a can-opener) at 97g vs 151g. That is important when removed from the desk to the pocket. Can't add much to the published spec or to what is already known about Victorinox fit and finish or that, of course, it is sharp out of the box.
