Twisted Assisted Pallas G10 Utility Knife

Posted by Woby on 27th Nov 2025

1st Twisted Assisted I’ve bought that I wouldn’t give 5 stars. Quality is fine, looks good but just a bit short in the handle for me. The jimping on the blade holder section helps but wold prefer slightly longer handle & how cheap do you need to be to supply them without ANY blade? If the margins are that tight drop the junk you send with it & include some blades instead. As usual Hennie Haynes delivered quickly but I never noticed they were supplied as just a handle, now I’m waiting for a pack of blades to be delivered from Amazon before I can actually use the new knife.

    Handy knife

Posted by Debbie Herbert on 23rd Nov 2025

Brought this to open packaging and for cutting up cardboard. It taking stanley blades makes it the right tool for the job and no need to sharpen. Its lightweight, quality build means it doesn't drag your pocket down and Iit feels good in your hand. No instructions with it to show how to fit the blades but it's just unscrewing the thumb pin which also means the pin has the possibility of unscrewing with use so make a mental note to yourself to check it . All told a pleasure to use and worth the price.

TWISTED ASSISTED PALLAS G10 UTILITY KNIFE

Posted by Dr Mike on 23rd Nov 2025

Most commercial utility knives are too big for my hands and you always wonder about the blade emerging in your tool box or the “knob” breaking off. This solves both problems. Would be 5 stars but I am yet to be convinced that the knurled nobs holding the blade in place wont come loose and disappear to the planet of lost fasteners.

    Good but not perfect

Posted by Enno Putzar on 21st Nov 2025

The quality is really good, the fit & finish is perfect, and it feels very high-end in the hand. It’s especially worth highlighting that the blade is held only halfway, allowing the edge to pass completely through the material. Many knives of this type have a holder running along the entire spine of the blade, while leaving almost the entire cutting edge exposed. I don’t really understand the purpose of that construction, since it remains a utility cutter and therefore does not become a “normal” knife. I had very high expectations for this knife because Germany has similarly strict laws to the UK, and this model was developed specifically for these markets as an EDC for daily use. Unfortunately, in my opinion there are several design flaws that I would like to see changed in a version 2.0: The large thumb stud on both sides makes it very difficult to slide the knife into a pocket; the outer thumb stud always catches on the fabric. I wanted to replace one side with a normal screw, but unfortunately for right-handed users the outer (unused) thumb stud is a nut, and it is designed in such a way that the two sides cannot be swapped. Additionally, because the thumb stud also serves as the blade’s securing screw, it sits very far back. This makes the opening motion not very comfortable and, after repeated fidgeting, leads to tendon strain — at least for me, and that’s with my glove size 10. The knurled screws (thumb studs) also keep loosening, and even with threadlocker they often come loose in the pocket. There is no half-stop. The spring tension of the slipjoint is quite weak, though this may be due to UK regulations; I believe I read that somewhere. Overall, it’s a great knife and unique on the market in this form. As mentioned, I’m hoping for an improved version 2.0.

    Compact and comfortable

Posted by Fraser Tucker on 21st Nov 2025

Absolutely fantastic lol ittle utility knife, the slipjoint action isn't too stiff and the G10 scales are excellent as well adds a nice bit of comfort when holding it, the jimping along the blade holder section makes it very easy to get a good grip or press for any sort of action you might be performing. Overall for the compact, stellar build quality and comfort, it's hard to beat the value of this utility knife and I can't recommend it enough

    Twisted Pallas G10

Posted by Adam C Callender on 20th Nov 2025

I've been waiting for an affordable, uk-legal folding utility knife for ages and this doesn't disappoint. Fit and finish is punching above it's price point and as noted by others, the gimping is spot on when accurate work is needed. Picked up a G10 and a Titanium version and both are perfect.

    g10 pallas

Posted by Michael Hodgkinson on 11th Nov 2025

The Pallas utility folder. . . . . wonderful! The moment i got it yesterday i realised i liked it so much that i've now ordered the titanium handled one. Well made. Gimping just where its needed most.Simple to change blades. And unlike the 'normal' old fashioned Stanley knives . . .which i still love even though decades old. This new one can be pinch gripped for delicate cutting very easily. 10/10 from me
