The Trayvax Ascent is one of the most durable and well made wallets that we’ve seen here at Heinnie® HQ. The backbone of the wallet is a chunky, 3mm thick stainless steel plate, sandwiched on each side by a slab of top grain, oil-tanned leather in warm “tobacco brown” colour. The leather is superbly hand-stitched through the steel plate and secured at the base with a pair of brass rivets. The construction lends itself to RFID-security (Interferer).
This wallet is minimalist by design. In your EDC, you probably only need a couple of cards and a few notes. This wallet has space for four bank cards, two on each side. One side is accessed through a finger-push window, the other by a nifty release strap – pull on this and your cards rise out to meet you. There’s a slot in the side into which you can poke your bank notes.
Over time, this wallet will develop a patina and a character unique to you, as it moulds around its contents.

Lovely wallet, quality is premium, just lovely for those who love that tactical minimalist look, my only gripe is the money notes holder is too small to fold British notes in half, they have to be folded 3 times, making it feel bulky with just two ten pound notes, would like to hold about 5 notes, but that would be tricky.
Really nice hard-wearing minimalist wallet, can see why they offer a 65 year warranty as this things bomb proof, will certainly be looking at other trayvax products.
Great wallet but the action of using the nylon strap to eject your cards will wear on them. I have replaced two cards as a result of the friction.
I've had my Ascent for almost 2 years now, so it has softened up nicely and has a lovely patina to the leather. It's a minimalist wallet, so not going to handle loads of c**p. But if, like me, you only carry 4 or 5 cards and your driving licence, well, there's still enough "slack" to fit 5/6 £20 notes folded in the slot provided. Brilliant, high-quailty product and I can't recommend it highly enough.

This is a love story which starts the moment you first clasp this wallet in your hand. Absolutely insane quality materials and craftsmanship. Forget drugs, this leather has turned me into a perverted Trayvax wallet-sniffer. Do yourself a favour and visit the Horween and Wickett & Craig leather supplier's websites to get an idea of the quality and craftsmanship. This is honestly one of the best, most satisfying products I have ever bought. The simplicity of the design and combination of leather and steel is just amazing. My wallet comfortably takes two cards in the front and four in the back which is all I need. As the leather softens one might be able to fit another card in there. The age of the bloated wallet is dead, long live Trayvax!

This is a lovely wallet, just the right size, I normaly carry four cards and a small amount of cash, and the Ascent is perfect, feels nice to hold and has a good weight, I expect it will last years, I bought their keychain too. Glad Heinne stock them
