All TOPS fixed blades are designed and handcrafted at TOPS Knives' own facility in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, USA. The TOPS Pasayten is designed by Steven Dick, this is a good sized knife at 10" overall and the combination of treated steel blade and micarta handle result in this outstandingly solid knife. The Pasayten comes with a quality Kydex heavy duty sheath with spring steel clip, so this knife can always be at hand.
A well known editor of Tactical Knives Magazine (with a great set of credentials in both the military and as a professional outdoorsman) took a great deal of time and his years of experience to design a true multipurpose camp knife.
In an article in Tactical Knives Magazine in May of 2003, the author wrote:
