Best fire steel I have used, rods are a little thin though hence the 4 stars
Very useful bit of kit to carry around your neck when out and about in the wilds. Whistle is loud enough to be heard quite a distance away and has a good three tone pitch. The flint rod though is really good, it gives a very hot spark, the best I've ever seen from any flint. However it is very soft and won't last vey long. All 3 rods are in fact very thin. Overall though 4 stars.
