For over a century, the denim jacket has been a staple of miners, ranchers, engineers and rebels. Its durable shell and subtle styling is an icon of the American West. The TAD Interval PD Jacket continues this tradition, updating the classic style with strategic reinforcements and secure storage. Built for the modern frontier, Interval lies in the grey zone between performance and style.

TAD's high-quality, uniformly woven Performance Denim (PD) comes from America’s oldest working denim mill, the White Oak plant in Greensboro, NC. Built to move, it delivers long-wearing comfort that fits perfectly day one and contains one percent elastane so you won't break a sweat if you need to step up the pace.

Subtle Capability Two zippered hand pockets feature internal open-top pockets for flashlights, knives, or magazines. Two zippered exterior upper chest pockets provide secure storage and ready access for phones and credentials.

Undercover Style Made in the USA and engineered from durable materials, the Interval has a modern silhouette and standard fit that resists printing.

Performance Denim Care There are a variety of ways to safely wash raw denim. The easiest is to turn them inside out and wash them in cold water in the washing machine using a gentle detergent, such as Woolite. We recommend washing them separately the first few times to avoid any potential for bleeding dye onto your other clothes. Line dry or tumble dry low to prolong the life of your denim.

    Love this

What can I say. It's just a really nice. Well made denim jacket. With great movement allowances. Used it to do all sorts. Very comfy. Surprisingly warm as it's a heavy grade denim but nothing over bearing. Just a very useful jacket keeps the wind out. Great fit for a 2 XL. Zippers on the pockets it's really useful too.

Utilitarian & stylish at the same time!

Posted by Erwin W on 20th Apr 2020

Bought this as I like denim jackets, but I find the traditional (type II or III) denim jackets to be less utilitarian due to the lack of usable pockets. I also like this jacket because of the low profile collar. This jacket has a total of four pockets, all with (YKK) zippers: Two chest pockets & two hand pockets. The jacket is unlined, but the front pocket lining material doubles as a liner, at least for the front of the jacket. Personally, I would prefer if the hand pockets do not come with zippers, as it would be more comfortable to use them as hand warmer pockets. But having the zippers does help secure the things you put in the hand pockets. The pockets are large enough to fit items such as mobile phone, keys, etc. I find the fit to be rather trim, especially the arms. However, given the relatively light weight of the denim material used (11-3/4 Oz) it does make it more comfortable. Size S is comparable to a (trim) 38, I would say. Buying a jacket online often leads to a disappointment, so pay a close attention to the sizing guide provided here. The quality of the jacket (material, stitching, etc.) is excellent, and it is made in the USA.
