The Von Tempsky Hawk is Svord's interpretation of the tomahawks carried by New Zealand Forest Rangers in the 1860s - heavy, purposeful, and built without compromise.
The head is 8670 high carbon steel, heat treated using Svord's proprietary process and hand-ground on a water-cooled stone to a convex edge that chops cleanly and sharpens easily on a strop. The spike adds reach and versatility in the field. Wenge wood scales are bolted to the full-tang head via Corby bolts. Forge-finished flats keep the look honest.
