Svord Peasant Mini 18

Rustic, simple-looking knife that looks like butter wouldn’t melt. But after a couple of passes on my sharpening rods the blade was shave-sharp. Still early days, but so far it’s been used ahead of my other knives that cost six times more. Special shout-out to the Heinnie crew for their usual stellar service.

I see the SM has plenty of reviews here on HH already, so i'll be brief ... As of writing this (April '21)- the current batch that HH have in stock are simply excellent, recently bought 4, all have had great grinds and are of excellent sharpness. Good news as this appears to have not always been the Case- reading other reviews and watching YT reviews. I find the Svord Mini completely endearing and Utility wise it's excellent tool - great ergonomics. They also have a pretty good fidget factor! Not everyone likes them. But 2 thumbs up from me... I think they are fabulous Thank you peeps.

Absolutely fantastic first class knife!

Excellent, rustic, sharp, cheap enough, fun and interesting concept. Practical everyday pocket knife, if you don't mind teh medium to large size. You can tighten or loosen the bottom screw to change how snugly retained the blade is in the closed position

Can't really say more than anyone else. I was however surprised to see it come through with a single bevel ground in. Not sure how long it'll keep am edge for with how I'll be using it. But if its too much of an issue I'll grind a symmetrical edge

I have used and maintained Cut throat razors for 40 yrs so I think of myself as “knowing” blades,as soon as this came through the Post ,kindly sent to me by HH while on a surfing break in Cornwall ,I knew this knife is a winner. Superbly made and like others had said it made me smile. A real working knife made by Guys in NZ.......A real back and beyond proving ground for kit. Within 30 minutes the knife was up in the rocks with me fishing cutting bait etc . It glides through rope ,5mm leather all that you need .I would quite happily pack this knife, my fiddle and a Bible( no one goes to sea an Atheist)and spend a winter on an Hebridean Island with this knife. Unbelievable value, comfortable in the hand, very sharp out of the packet and not uncomfortable in the pocket.

I bought this as a knife that I can legally carry in my pocket although I work in the woods at a forest school and would be allowed other knives I wanted one that I didn't need to worry if I forgot to pack it away after work when popping into the supermarket. This knife came pretty sharp out of the box can be use for carving wood straight away. The blade shape is nice and you can tighten the mechanism for opening and closing to your own preference. Its a working blade and very comfy to hold plus a decent size to use doesn't feel like you are using a tooth pick. Excellent price and quick delivery with no fuss. I would recommend to anyone who wants a nice little folder or as a gift to someone who likes practical knives. Only had it a week so time will tell how it lasts but it feels strong and is better than I was expecting.

I've had the mini for a while now and it's like we're joined at the hip. I filed the opening tab into a screwdriver profile and it is in constant use. Just about to order the big one. Simple, sharp and almost indestructible; it's all I ask.
