Cracked with one drop
Handle is poorly finished and loose when you get it. Knew that before but didn't expect 5 hairline cracks to appear after dropping it on a vinyl floor.

The Svord Peasant knife has been a Heinnie bestseller for years, so we're very excited to see this version - the Svord Peasant Knife Crystal Polycarbonate with a stainless steel blade.
Not just any old knife, but the B.W. Baker Peasant Knife with a "crystal" polycarbonate handle. Such an old concept that it's new; so new that it's old.
B.W. Baker, Master Cutler, felt that the idea of creating his latest knife range was calling to him from the past. Using old fashioned methods and relying on the oldest low-tech methods, the Svord Peasant knife.
What does it do? Well, it cuts. Sure, there are knives around today that sprout scissors, sawblades, an entire motor mechanic's tool kit, laser beams and micro cell phones. Such knives have lost the very reason for their existence - that's high-tech for you. If you want a knife, a knife to cut things with, the Svord Peasant Knife is for you.
It's a rough-and-ready knife which won't win any beauty contests, but as an everyday user, it's unsurpassed.

One hand opening a real plus on UK legal pocket knife. As others state this benefits from tweaking - plastic washer at tail end added in this case. Clear handle feels ok, tempting to attempt a wooden replacement at some point. Opinel more apt for a proper peasant :)
Nice smaller version of the peasant knife one again these knives need a bit of work to set it up plus make a spacer at the bottom so you can tighten up the bottom screw
Very useful, solid piece of equipment. Easy adjustment of the screws allows varying ease of opening . One issue (as seen in the Heinnie pic) - the pollycarbonate is slightly cracked by pressure from the screws, presumably during assembly.
