Peasant Knife.
This is the second Peasant knife I have purchased from this Company. I have to say, on both occasions the service has been little short of amazing. The first one I bought was the Mini, as I wanted an everyday carry that satisfied our ridiculous legal requirements here in UK. It has been (and is) a brilliant companion. I do carry it every day, and most days find a use, or more than one, for it. Great for removing the plastic foil on a bottle of red! The design, with the long tang, makes it easy, after a little practice, and maybe a little adjustment of the handle, to open one handed. Which, as we all know, is a useful attribute of any knife. That tang is quite handy for retrieving the knife from your pocket. And in use effectively locks the blade as efficiently as any mechanism. Making it a very safe knife to use. I have just personally found that occasionally I have wished for a slightly larger knife for certain jobs. So I purchased this standard Peasant knife to use where it is legal for me to do so. I am delighted with it. Does everything I need it to. The blades on these knives take a lovely edge with just a few strokes of a steel or stone, and hold it surprisingly well. If you are looking for a basic, no nonsense knife, at a reasonable price, you could do a lot worse than consider one of these. I would not be without mine.
