More like Tyrannosaurus Rex beater... I bought this on yet another whim and it didn't disappoint. I haven't a clue what I'd use it for since there's no razorbacks in these parts. It's like a gladius and probably my No. 2 Svord favourite after my VTB. What a beast.

I don't know what to say about this knife other than it is fantastic beast of a knife,that fits well in the hand,and comes with a nice leather case.I am so glad that i bought this knife to add to my Svord collection. Even though this knife is in my collection cabinet,it is however a very well made working knife,and to me worth every penny.If you are a hunter or collector this knife is worth having.
I recently purchased this amazing knife a great thank You to Richard and staff at HH for an exellent service As my nickname indicates I am more of an collector of knives than a user of knives! The Sv¶rd Hog Beater is very interessting, at least to me, somehow it is an Roman Legionnaires Pugio, a Short Sword and perhaps an Fairbairn-Sykes on steoroids. In short I love this knife :-)
A truly gorgeous hand made knife that currently sits at the top in my fixed blade collection top 100. Probably slightly over engineered for hunting 500 pounds wild pigs, but just right for taking on a hungry grizzly. Not for the faint of heart, I had to have an aortic valve replacement just to own it.
