Maxamet G10 Sage-1
When i received this knife I was very impressed with the finish, everything is silky smooth and perfectly aligned. I wanted this knife for the G10 and Maxamet - i wasn't too fussed about another liner-lock but as i said this is about the smoothest working one i have. The blade is obviously super sharp and being Maxamet will undoubtedly retain it's edge for a long while. A word on non-stainless steels, they will tarnish if you don't care for them. I use a thin coat of camellia oil treating all metal surfaces and it does the trick. I'm super happy with this choice; the blade shape is really great too. There were some comments about there being a lot of handle compared to blade and that perhsps this knocks it out of edc territory - i don't agree with that, the knife has a superb ergonomic feel, perhaps on the upper limit of being comfortable in the pocket but i don't think it's an issue at all. Obviously a pricey thing (i've wanted maxamet for a while) but will last a lifetime if you treat it right
