The Spyderco Para 3 G10 Maxamet combines all the defining qualities of this best-in-class folding knife design with the extreme edge retention and toughness of Maxamet blade steel. The full-flat-ground blade includes a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening. It is supported by a high-strength Compression Lock mechanism and housed in a handle featuring signature dark gray textured G-10 scales. A four-position pocket clip and a generously sized lined lanyard hole complete the package by supporting all possible carry preferences.

Excellent grip on the handle and the huge thumb hole on the blade makes opening it like a pro easy. Can get a little oxidisation on the blade so clean it with mineral oil now and then and you'll be fine. if you want a high quality blade to last a you years to come this is it.
Ok, this isn't a cheap knife, but imo it's worth it. Solidly built, incredibly sharp as delivered I'm a huge fan. The back locking mechanism isn't initially intuitive but I'm getting there. Pity more after market parts like scales not available in the UK. Love it, it's my grail knife - for me it's my limit financially.. It's an heirloom purchase, I'll not hide it away, I'll use it.
Love the look and feel of this knife. One of the best edc knifes I have. It's really sharp and action is perfect out of the box. The G10 handle is great. I just wish there would be a micarta variant. Luckily it's easy to get one and swap it out (if you like). Would recommend for anyone that needs only one great knife or needs (wants) one more to add in his or hers collection.
