Inspired by the iconic Para Military 2, the Spyderco Para 3 G10 Digital Camo distills all the features of that best-in-class folding knife into a more compact, carry-friendly package.

For military end users or those who prefer a tactical look to their knives, this version of the Para 3 boasts digital camouflage-patterned textured G-10 scales that approximate the pattern of the U.S. Army’s ARPAT camouflage. The scales are precision machined to contain nested stainless steel liners that are the foundation of the knife’s high-strength Compression Lock mechanism.

On the business end, this knife features a full-flat-ground CPM S45VN stainless steel blade with a PlainEdge cutting edge and a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole for quick, ambidextrous, one-handed opening. To keep the knife ready for immediate access, it includes a four-position clip that can be configured for left or right-side tip-up or tip-down carry.

My favourite spyderco ever. Super sharp, superb compression lock, silky smooth action, grippy g10. I absolutely love this knife. Perfect size...would be 5 stars but I wish spyderco would add deep carry pocket clips as standard to their knives. Usual excellent service from heinnie.

This is my sixth Spyderco and costing considerably more then my other 5 I had high expectations for the Para 3. I wasn’t disappointed , it feels so much more comfortable in the hand then my Tenascious and fit and finish is flawless. The G10 scales are nice and grippy. Mine has the new CPM S45VN blade and came shaving sharp with an even grind. Zero blade play and a smooth action soon put any doubts out of my head about spending this much on a knife. The compression lock seems a little strange at first but you soon get used to it and realise just how good it is , one hand closing without your fingers in the way is a very attractive method. I've had my Para 3 for nearly 10 months now, & have been very impressed with the build quality of this knife, the blade locks with a reassuring click & the blade itself is razor sharp. The knife itself is a good size & fills your hand nicely with plenty of grip. The only downside I woud say is the pocket clip, it allows the knife to sit to far out of your pocket this could attract unwanted attention or the knife could get snagged on something & get pulled out of your pocket. The other thing that let it down is the camo pattern, on the photos the pattern looks full of colour & nice & sharp in appearance, but I found it to look as if it has been left in the sun for to long! - it looks very faded, other than that I would recommend this knife, it is a great quality knife.
