Hand-finished in Golden, Colorado, its full-flat-ground CPM S90V blade offers exceptional wear resistance and edge retention, while the polished amber bone scales bring traditional knifemaking into a distinctly Spyderco design. Full stainless steel liners feature decorative edge filework, with the proven Native 5 back lock completing the working mechanism.
The extraordinary part is the bolsters. Bladesmith and long-time Spyderco collaborator Ed Schempp and his son Martin spent more than 1,200 hours over the course of a year creating the mosaic Damascus. Each bolster reveals a checkerboard of 36 tiny Spyderco bugs, forged into the steel rather than simply applied to it. No two sets are quite identical meaning every single one of these 50th anniversary folders are unique and exclusive.
