If you already own a Delica or Endura, you have one of the best selling knives Spyderco makes. The knife you have just acquired is a bit different from the normal C10 Endura 4 and C11 Delica 4 Lightweights. They are now available in a range of new handle colors with full-flat ground blades.

Their FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handles come in new vibrant tones including blue, green, brown, gray and purple. Molded onto the handle's surface is Bi-Directional Texturing™ for slip-free tactile traction. Inside the handle are dual skeletonized stainless steel liners which strengthen the knife without additional weight and double as an anchor for external and internal components to attach through generating more sturdiness and rigidity.

The blades are full flat-ground VG-10 with a thinner highly refined cutting edge and a larger 13mm opening hole. Added to the blade's spine is slip resistant jimping. Phosphor bronze washers smooth out the open/close action and the clip is upgraded to a four-way tip-up, tip-down, left-or right-handed clip.

    The Best Yet..?

Posted by KrazyBiker on 15th Feb 2016

I've put off buying this knife for too long, I was put off by the FRN handle as I've got a few Spyderco FRN's and they bind a bit when opening and closing and yes I've oiled them and loosened the screws but this just leaves loads of blade play... However the Delica 4 has steel liners & this makes all the difference, there's no blade play at all and there's no binding either, the only thing that would improve this knife is a deep carry pocket clip so on that note Heinne Haynes please look into stocking deep carry pocket clips so we can convert our knives. As usual delivery from HH was incredibly fast, ordered 3pm Friday and arrived next day (Saturday afternoon), brilliant service...

    AWESOME!!

    Posted by GRANT.E on 16th Dec 2015

I don't usually bother with blades this size but its not too small and reading all the reviews thought id get one. All reviews are bang on,every one should have one. A good smaller task knife although I'm pretty sure its size is misleading, and its capable of some heavy duty aswell. BLADE..VG10 ,get the feel its similar quality to S30V maybe not quite as hard.Even though mine arrived super sharp i still go for a bit more..finished as sharp as my PARA2. Blade was central ,rock solid with no play what so ever. HANDLE...good ,looks ok,feels solid and certainly grips. If any thing to me ,it felt small handled but as i said, not had this size before. CLIP..multi position in black, tight but not too tight..fine. OPENING/CLOSING..probably a little bit stiff but i know it will loosen up,still open one handed easy enough.Closing is straight forward back lock, JUST KEEP YOUR FINGERS OUT OF THE WAY. LOCKING...feels VERY solid. All in all a cracking knife, can't believe it took me this long to get one. I Think along side my PARA 2 I'm covered for most things. Thanks to all at HH.AGAIN.. Next mission MANIX 2 XL i think..

    Wow!

This knife looks great with the orange scales. The VG10 blade is razor sharp out of the box. This is a knife pared back to the essential basics, a great steel blade and a tough but strong lightweight handle. This knife feels up to any task you might reasonably want to undertake with a folder. Down side, it isn't legal for EDC in the UK. Other than that, the perfect knife.

    Perfection? Almost!

Posted by Ken on 4th Nov 2015

What a fabulous knife! Almost everything about it is perfect. It has a neat, elegant, flat-ground blade of just the perfect size for everyday use. Good steel and a really grippy nylon handle. Like all of Spyderco's Japanese-made blades, this one comes super-sharp straight from the box. The knife is beatifully made. Any gripes? No, not really. I suppose if I had the choice I would go for a finger choil on the underside of the blade, just for added protection (like the UKPK). However, there are plenty of other Spyderco knives that have this feature and the company would have to enlarge the size of the blade to accommodate this feature. Not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. If you only buy one small locking knife, this one must be a very serious contender.

    Awesome knife, awesome service!

Posted by Darreyl Edwards. on 22nd Aug 2013

Just received my Delica 4 (orange) thought I'd take the time to do a review as I've had such great service from HH, it's the least I can do as a 'thank you' to them if nothing else! I can't really add to what's been said so many time about this knife, it's just about perfection as an EDC as you will get! Light, fast, ergonomics, decent steel and WOW...the colour!! All along I was going to buy this knife in blue, then last minute decided to get the orange and I'm so glad I did! What a stunning colour, just right! My decision was based on the fact that the orange may not be a good seller for Spyderco and they may discontinue the colour? Maybe making it rare in the future? Not that I'm that bothered really, I've purely bought it as a 'user'. I do hope the HH get the Dragonfly 2 in the new orange colour, I'd defo buy one as a matching little brother to my Delica 4! Outstanding service from HH as usual! Two day turnaround from order to in the hand...You guys rock!! Best Regards, Dazza.
