Spyderco Clipitool Serrated 18

I love the small size of this and the two blades. Great for my urban EDC where you don't need a big blade or handle, just something to open packaging and (with the serrated blade) cut string/fibre and take plant cuttings. It'll definitely replace the full size UK legal folder I had before. The lanyard hole is handy too for attaching to a key chain or mount point in a bag for occasional use, compared to the pocket clip on bigger knives which kind of assume you always need it attached to your clothing.

A lot of knife in a small package. I wanted a 'UK legal' serrated blade to keep in my saddle bag for trimming tubeless tyre plugs. Really impressed with this, so much so I've now also now bought the bottle opener version for EDC

Best made in China even. This Spyderco is amazing in all time. Small, discreet, have a really good blade, easy sharpening, good grip but when you use the serrated blade, grip isn't so good because the main blade will be closed. So that is not a complain, just a explanation about this item. I really love this pocketknife. It is one of my favourites.

Had this knife going on 4 years, never let me down or showed any signs of such. I use the standard blade mostly everyday, holds a decent edge and can to sharpen up to shaving. It is small, appearence is good for UK edc.

The serated blade is demon sharp and great for thread, fabric and so on. Main blade sharp and capable. I can just about get it open with one hand on a good day, but haven't ever needed to really. Although it's tiny the blade has a sharp point and gets noticed more than the subcom 42 I own.

Solid little knife, very sharp, great for edc.

8Cr13MoV blades and grinds are great on this tiny knife. My only gripe is that the blade hinge feels a bit 'graunchy' - even after applying oil; a couple of fine copper washers (like in the Persistence/Ambitious) would've made an enormous difference, and made the knife feel properly classy.

This knife is awesome and fits perfect in my jeans as part of my EDC, being UK legal carry is an added bonus as well. The knife may be small compared to other Spyderco's such as my Native, but that makes it a better EDC knife that is discreet and won't be left at home. If you don't own one, then get one!
