I bought one of these because a William Harsey designed knife is always very nice indeed to hold, the contours of the grip have been very well thought out and crafted. The quality of the engineering of the knife is second to none, and on the battlefield would be a perfect tool for the job. Mine is purely for my collection, it will never be used in anger but I noticed that several special forces personnel had them strapped to themselves as they boarded planes going to the middle east, if I were still in the military I would take it with me. The balance of the knife is perfect as is the blade, and the grip being so secure makes it very easy to use, whether for woodsman activities or anything else. ***************** £500 you are paying for the superb engineering, which gives me great satisfaction, as having been involved in engineering I really appreciate the quality level of the skill involved. If this is what you want from a knife - quality, then I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. Highly recommended.
