Excellent knife.
Excellent knife, I did strop the blade to a razor-sharp edge. Super little knife for the money.

Well made, strong light weight and sharp. Spot on SOG.
Overall a very well built knife. Recommend this for an EDC, although it will more than likely require some sharpening before use...
Beautiful design and well made, although the factory edge is not what I would expect for this price...
Really pleased to have finally found a double detent style slippy with a strong lock up. I'm not sure how SOG have achieved this as its way easier to open than to close. Fit and finish is really good and pocket clip is perfect for me.
I really liked the original Terminus, but SOG have really improved on an already good design with these new versions. D2 is an improvement on the original BD01 steel, and it's now sporting a flat sabre grind, rather than the hollow grind on the older version. the forward choir has been moved further up the handle scale, making it more comfortable to hold, and the G10 scales are nicely bevelled, giving it the feel of being slimmer in the pocket, without feeling any less solid in the hand. The TiNi blade coating is very even & tough, and the nail nicks are machined in a way that they can be cleaned & dried (which, given D2 isn't stainless, is a great little feature). I think the blade spins on either teflon or nylon bushings, and it deploys smoothly, with a reassuring snap as the spring engages to hold it open, with no blade wiggle whatsoever.Unlike a lot of the detent ball style slip joints that are out there, this uses the same sort of mechanism that the original employed: the liners have milled out sections near the pivot, which act as springs, which in turn push the stop pin down to hold the blade open. It has all the advantages of an old fashioned slip joint design, but with an opened back design for easy cleaning....The only real down side to this EDC (and it's a tiny gripe, really), is that the backspacer is GRN, rather than being G10, or titanium. Great knife, great design, great ergos and nice fit & finish. HH brilliant as ever.....buy one!
