The SOG Terminus is an all-purpose slip joint folding knife that is legal carry in the UK. It features a quality 7.6cm (3inch) CTS BD1 stainless steel blade and G10 handles. Slip joint knives are easier to clean, maintain, and have fewer mechanical bits to get dirty and cause problems.

The versatile clip point BD1 blade features a straight edge and a nail nick for opening. Textured G10 handles and jimping on the blade offer improved control during use. The small guard on the blade prevents accidental closure of the blade on fingers. Its slim profile makes it easy to carry with or without the reversible low-carry pocket clip.

    Good knife

Posted by Owen on 8th Aug 2020

I bought this back in Dec 2017 and used it heavily in work and outdoors. It has proven to be a great performer, held it's otb edge for a long time and easy to restore that edge when I finally had to. The build is strong, no blade play, backspring is strong and the handle reassuringly grippy. The pocket clip is high enough to leave the knife out of sight when in the pocket.
I didn't know much about SOG knives but at the price thought it was worth a punt. Glad I did, it's now a regular in my edc rotation.
Thoroughly recommend and buy it through HH, they're great!

Lovely to hold and own. Superb finish and built to last. Brilliant addition to any collection with the usual top service from the Heinnie team.

    Perfect

Posted by Ryan on 13th Feb 2020

Been using this knife for little over a year now and have had no problems what so ever. This is the perfect knife for UK EDC. Despite its tactical look it strong and robust with a sturdy lock. Disappears in my pocket but the pocket clip is perfect for quick retrieval. Highly recommended!

What a super little knife - as soon as I unpacked it I could see it was a quality item

Very well made and presented - will certainly be my edc from now on

My only surprise is that there is no half way detent when closing the blade

An excellent buy - I love it!

    Outstanding

Posted by Dom on 28th Apr 2019

I bought this knife about 9 months ago and have used it at work daily ever since. Safe to say I'm impressed with this simple slip joint knife. I bought the kwik thumb stud which just makes the knife so much easier to use as it's impossible to open one handed in any practical sense. Which is it's design but not what I require.

The blade has only been shown strop now and then and had a new edge put on it once. Impressive when I got through 2 Stanley blades a day normally. I've used this with my hammer to cut away at Cladding, and regularly use it to sharpen my pencil.

The knife has been used and abused and its still going strong. It comes shaving sharp, looks good, feels great in the hand, easier to sharpen / maintain, holds and edge and with the kwik thumb stud it has seen an end to me carrying a UKPK

    Fantastic EDC

Posted by Joe on 20th Apr 2019

This is a brilliant little blade, came very sharp out of the box and fits well in the hand. It's quite light compared to some of the other legal carry knives I have, some of the weight is removed by taking away 2/3 of the back of the handle, so you can see through it when open. The handle grip is very textured giving a sturdy non-slipness(?) which felt weird at first, but it's definitely grown on me. I usually wear my knives on my belt; but with this, the (very sturdy) clip is so high it's totally impracrical as the knife pretty much hangs, is very visible and likely to be pushed off when sitting. In the pocket though, the high clip is perfect, keeping it low, out of sight and secure.

    Just get it.

I umm'd and ahh'd over the knife for ages. Wanted an edc knife that wasn't super tactical but didn't look like your grandads pen knife. I was a bit reluctant as I was new to knifes and I didn't want to spend that amount of money. However I'm glad I did.

I'm a carpenter by trade and I use this knife both at work and in my day to day. It probably goes through more abuse that your average pocket knife. Being that it's made of the same steel that my chisels are made off its familiar, easy to work with and holds and edge for a really long time. I change Stanley blades in my work knife about twice a day but this Sog terminus lasts me about 3 days before I have to sharpen it again.

Can't recommend this knife enough HOWEVER part of what makes this knife so great for me is that I installed a kwik removable thumb stud. Which allows me to open and close the knife one handed. As it comes, the knife can't normally do this which in my opinion really effects its versilty. Put a kwik thumb stud on and you've got yourself a really really good edc knife

    Cracking bit of kit.

Posted by Tankyphil on 25th Jul 2018

I've had mine about 2 months now. Teamed it up with the kwik thumb stud which HH were all too happy to demonstrate that it both fits nicely on this knife and doesn't spoil the overall look of the thing. I use this for pretty much all my daily cutting needs, from thick plastic and cardboard to apples. It's not as fearsomely sharp as when it arrived but it's still the sharpest thing in the house by a country mile, and it only ever gets a rough strop on my belt every now and then. It's not the most office friendly of blades, NKP will most likely see it as fairly intimidating, but then we don't wave them around in public for good reason! It's done everything I have asked of it without any signs of weakness and held properly you will really struggle to close it up on yourself and get anything worse than a little pinch. Highly recommended! Top marks to HH for their legendary customer service and speedy delivery.

    Excellent EDC knife.

Posted by Wez on 1st Mar 2018

This is now the best UK legal knife I own. I wanted something larger than the Spyderco Squeak. As nice as the squeak is, I wanted something that could cut into things a bit better, to be more generally useful after some failures with thick plastic not going as smoothly as I would have liked.

After seeing a few youtube videos on this knife (there are not many... but go watch them to see the knife better) I was convinced. I like it a lot and I hope to not run into any office-environment issues by using a knife that looks as nice and is as long as the UK law allows.

Legal in more places. Including Europe.
