SOG PowerPint
Great little tool that's small and compact with a great set of pliers but the fit and finish isn't very good. The small screwdriver isn't grinded straight and one of the pivot pin screws has worked it's self loose after only a week

Well made with lots of tools and a holder for a standard bit
I believe is an well made tool. Every man should have this with him everywhere he goes. Delivery time was good and I believe the price was very competitive.
I have used this shop 3 times now and always had great service.
Small well engineered multi tool. From an ergonomic perspective it’s not great, but I can live with that because it’s a “just in case “ tool as opposed to one you would use every day. Finish wise, mine was a little rough around the edges, but nothing too bad. On the whole, I’m very happy with it.
I own a lot of multitools form all price brackets. I own at least five SOG tools and - bizarrely - this is not only the cheapes but the one I rate the highest. The tool selection is excellent. The file is okay for the size and the knife blade ditto. It is a drop point and came pretty sharp. The screw drivers supplied are quite smal and people will over torque them and then complain that they twist. So use a 1/4 inch bit in the jaws at the closed position! The scissors are not brilliant (certainly not victorinox or even leatherman good) but it's better than not having them. They don't open very wide and are quite stuiff but they cut. Just don't ask too much of them. What is the tools party piece is the amount the jams open - as in the width of their opening.... On some of the larger SOG compound leverage tools this can be a problem as they can open so far you struiggle to get your hand around them. But these open wide and - on small tool like this - they give you the space and leverage to open some thenings that would normally need really wide grips. Great for taking the cork out of a jammed wine bottle, for example... Finally, finish is good, the tools all lock and the pocket clip is effective.
I love this tool. Ive got some gerbers Leathermans & Victorinox's & have always wanted an SOG. Saw this & the thing that interested me the most was the size / weight. I wont go into all the tools & features - check out the YouTube Reviews for that. What I really like is the size & weight - It is half-way between a key-chain Tool (ie - Gerber Dime /Leatherman PS4) & Full size multitool (ie - (Leatherman Charge / Gerber EVO/ SwissTool) While I do like a good Key-chain tool, as they are small & great for EDC, they are also very fiddley & too small to use effectivley for most things - they are almost more of a novelty.. A good full size multi-tool is great to have & very usefull, but I find them too heavy & bulky for EDC. This SOG PowerPint Multitooll fits the gap perfectly. Its small enough to be truly EDC while being just big enough to be useable & usefull., & It is loaded iwth an incredible amount of tools for its size, & the compound action pliers alone are worth the buy., & are better than the Leatherman / Gerber Pliers. Highly recommended if you are looking for a true EDC Plier Multitool.
I read the other reviews and agree with them on average . I do own few multi tools myself and yes, it is not Leatherman quality, but most Sogs are made in China nowadays. So, that's that (I got a few japanese Sog knives; no quality issue there what so ever) Keep it in mind: It is a pocket multi tool, therefore do not expect full size performance. The blades of mine were sharp out of the box, however the scissors on mime are too tight, they won't open automatically . Hopefully with time they will loosen up just right... I haven't got it for long, but so far I'm happy with it, however I haven't seen anybody mentioning it: the file is garbage on it. Barely works on my nails! I hope replacement is or will be available. I've seen the same issue with one reviewed online. I hoped that was a one off, but seems to be a general occurrence.
As a frame of reference I only have 2 other multi tools, a leatherman Micra and a leatherman surge, both of which I find faultless. I bought this as a mid size tool to go inbetween my other two, the size is absolutely perfect and I'm gutted to find leatherman don't make anything in this spec. It's perfect in the pocket, lightweight and the tools are perfect for most of my needs. Out of the packet though it's a sore disappointment. The metal used on the whole thing is very low grade, it's the sort of stuff that is commonplace on cheap Chinese tools, would be so much better if it were made out of something half way decent. I feel any of the tools will snap with anything but light to medium pressure. Very poor for a nearly £50 tool. The tool also lacks good workmanship in person. The sog stamp on the clip is poor and can hardly be seen. Other parts like even the torx screws holding together are horribly made, really cheap. The plastic lock buttons are also too cheap at this price point. The scissors are also terrible, they don't cut anything. There's no flathead screwdriver apart from a jewellers sized one which is dire. Separate bottle and can openers look like they'll struggle on both tasks. The plier seem decent enough and both blades and the awl are sharp. Overall I would skip this tool entirely. My 15 year old Micra outshines this tool in every manner. This will be my first and last SOG tool. Wish I would have stuck with leatherman and regrettably settled for something bigger, at least I know it's well made and built to last. Just wished they made a rival as the size is just perfect.
