Good knife but not out of the box great

I had to do a lot of tweaks with the pivot and frame lock to finally get it to open and close with ease one handed. Good blade and easy to sharpen. The blade has a small amount of play and flex but it’s good for everyday tasks including work in the garden

An entry level knife. I bought this for evevy day tasks so I diddn't have to use my more collectable blades. Turns out I like this to much to use it. This knife is well built strong, feels nice in the hand and makes a great clunking sound on opening as the blade locks up. Great fun to play with just for the sound.

Very nice basic little knife and I'd say you get more from it than you pay for. Takes some practice to one-handed opening and closing (hence the 4 stars, I've had some near accidents) but doesn't take to long to crack it. I've used this knife for a range of tasks like building, farming, hunting and butchery and it does the job very nicely. Easy to clean and maintain. Very happy with this.

A solid knife from sog Absolutely love it sharp out of the box it's the first sog I have purchased and it won't be the last and heinnie never let me down a seamless purchase and delivery was super quick 5 stars.

Firstly an excellent price for a solid piece of kit. This is not a gentleman's carry and is more than I'll ever need it for. It is well engineered, fits nicely in my large hand and opens and closes easy. This is a solid knife and would easily perform any outdoor tasks with great cutting and piercing abilities. A lot of knife for a little money.

After a long search for a decent edc and buying a variety of makes and giving most of them away I thought I'd try an SOG. Great price and excellent courier delivery from Heinnie as usual. Without full tech analysis I can honestly say this is an excellent piece of kit. Industrial build, easy open and close, smooth, accessible and simple. At this money this knife is a no brainer purchase.

Tough work knife

Really solid no frills locking knife. Great as pocket carry for jobs. Big enough to hold comfortably with a decent length and width to the blade. When folded it's profile is pretty slim for the size of knife. Easy to open one handed (not sure about commenter who had an issue - it feels perfectly straight forward for a right-hander). Overall amazing value for a well built , simple knife made to be used not looked at.

Build like a tank and arrives very sharp, not too heavy and the point at the end is quite fine but still strong. SOG often get slept on but don't miss this one.
