Posted by Scott on 1st Mar 2022

Simple design but it works tried it last few weekends in the SW England and found it very comfy and easy to use, stugg bag is rubbish like last reviewer said get a decent dry bag as I carry this on bottom of my pack externally so open to elements, cant really fault it should last me years.

    Special forces 2 almost there

Posted by Matthew on 7th Feb 2022

Published this bag and the sf1 for wet Scottish canoe trips in single skin tents and tarps ( sick of my down bags getting damp) the pros, size is great for my 6foot 100kg frame tons of room inside nice and long ( hard to find in a down bag) center zip is great, insulation is way loftier than the Chinese made elite bags. Cons the steel plate outer fabric is a pure snag fest the velcro on the zip cover has pulled the fabric after one use ( sf1 is like this having never been used) it's weak inside fabric is way better, the zip baffle is poor it falls away from the zip causing cold spots in the night and could be thicker ( like the issue bouncing bomb) the zip scratches your face at night as there's no cover at the top, the draw cords toggles are cheap and not single handed which is a pain some of the finishing stitching is a bit poor, bin the stuff sac it's a bit small and not overly waterproof get a dri bag. Overall this is ok but could be much better seems like a a product from the 80s that needs a design tweak
