Very happy like that you can swap grips . Seems a good strong blade sharpened well. Sheath looks good but not sure how long retention will last
This is an excellent multi-purpose blade at a reasonable cost for general infrequent use or a great "store & forget" component of a Bug Out Bag. The Kydex sheath is compact and rigid, with strong retention via a firm click-in mechanism, plus belt and molle attachment options. (Kydex is widely used in aircraft bulkheads, firearm holsters and knife sheaths.) The part-serrated blade is useful for simple sawing tasks and the point geometry offers a measure of strength, being a cross between drop and spear point. The black flat-grind black gives a tactical low-reflection appearance and makes for easier sharpening in the field or before Bug Out storage (recommend a light oil film on the cutting edge). The blade material seems to be 8Cr13MoV (from wider research) that is "similar to Aus-8 in its properties, performance and function" [Ref: Spyderco ]. Its a steel that matches well with the price point of the blade and its general purpose design. The glass breaker is a useful bonus, although the lanyard leaves much to be desired. The headline Grip Swap feature is actually very useful for grip options, with the firm rubber handles offering great bare skin grip, even in hot/humid conditions. The ergonomics offer straightforward confidence when in use, including the ricasso, blunt return/heel, choil (kick), finger guard (sub-hilt) and handle guard. Self-adhesive camouflage wrap on both sheath and handle makes it even better grip-wise, especially if using tactical gloves out in the field. Bearing the mind the price point, this is a great no-fuss knife for infrequent or general purpose use, being compact and solid for carry or Bug Out Bag storage. Highly recommended indeed.
