The Silky Zubat is a state-of-the-art hand saw with a unique blade and pistol grip handle. It is one of the most popular saws in the Silky range and is widely used by professional arborists and serious amateurs alike for the general pruning of small to large size branches.
The Zubat utilises proprietary Silky MIRAI-ME (Smooth Cutting) Technology. The precision-ground, razor sharp blade provide fast, clean and smooth cutting. The blade locks securely into one of two open positions, in line with the handle and flush cutting.
The saws come with a comfortable rubber handle and a new style scabbard. The scabbard has an opening at the bottom which allows moisture and sawdust to fall out of the holster.
The hard chrome-plated blade has 7.5 teeth per 30mm, with large teeth (6.4 teeth per inch), resists rust and effects of tree resin, and wipes clean easily. Superbly designed moulded-rubber hand grip encases the blade extension to absorb vibration while cutting.
Please note: Zubat blades cannnot be re-sharpened. These long lasting saw blades are designed to be replaced when they eventually fade.
