Great value for a big chunk of AUS10, grind is spot on and handle surprisingly comfy it has a bit of give in it which almost fills you hand for a really secure grip. Sheath is good and with emergency sharpener and rod (bit gimmicky but functional) which is good as a back up all in one platform. A great addition for just £45

APPALLING!! Review update

In addition to my previous review: The retention on the sheath is non-existent - a slight shake and the knife falls out. When I did manage to unscrew the handle pins and remove the scales, I found, to my horror, that the scales were hollow - WHAT??! I fixed this by filling the scales with ShooGoo rubber polymer shoe repair adhesive and I'd scuffed up the tang with a dremel tool so that the adhesive stuck to the knife. The thread on one of the pins was also severely chewed up and I wondered if I would be able to do it up again. The blade steel is exellent but this knife is not only really badly designed but also really badly put together. This is a really cheap knife with an expensive price tag - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

NOT worth £45.... not by Any stretch of the imagination! The handle scales, despite being very cofortable, flexed appallingly - there needs to be three screws on the handle, and the handle screws were loose. The ceramic so-called sharpeners on the sheath are at the wrong angle and therefore don't work - the blade edge won't reach to the apex of the sharpener. Absolutely Appalling knife - I probably won't ever buy a Schrade knife again!!!!
