    Samura MB Chopper

Nice weight without going to full scale cleaver. Bit of a talking point in the kitchen/larder because of the unique look. Very sharp and being Aus 8 it touches up easily. it can be used as a knife as well as a chopper and can be used for more delicate tasks with a grip adjustment. usual efficient service from Heinnie

    Samura MB Chopper

Bit of a beast but I love it. My first reaction was it's a little smaller than I expected. That said, it's still a good size, good weight and a decent balance. The convex edge profile is reminiscent of a hatchet or small axe. I've no doubt you could cut kindling with it! It is almost disingenuous that it comes out of the box shaving sharp. The cutting technique is something that will take a while to master. Resist the desire to swing it like a cleaver. It works better used like an oversized chef's knife. Comes with a really nice leather sheath and a sticking plater in case you can't resist testing that edge! Yes, if you read the small print it's made in China. I don't hold that against it. Proper funky edition to any kitchen and good value with it.
