Complicated simplicity
I had the version 2 and was getting use to the modes by button presses. Thought I'd upgrade to the new gen, which seemed sensible. By having two buttons to do the same modal configs it acually makes it a bit more complicated but nothing you can't get used to in time. Worst part tho and reason for 4 stars is it doesn't come with a wrist lanyard/strap, which on the previous model was brilliant, almost the best part about it. The 2 way magnetised clip is a tad frustrating if it is supposed to replace it.
