The Rough Rider Wharncliff VG10 is unusual within the Rough Rider realm in as much as it has a VG10 stainless steel blade but not in the fact that it is still an extraordinarily competitive price.
VG10 stainless steel is produced in Japan. It has a high carbon content and includes 1% Carbon, 15% Chromium, 1% Molybdenum, 0.2% Vanadium, and 1.5% Cobalt. It is a very high quality steel which resists corrosion and stays sharper longer like no other.
This superb little knife is UK legal carry thanks to its non-locking blade which has a cutting edge under three inches (7.6cm) long. The handle is an attractive mix of blue and black aluminium with a stainless back spine. The blade has a practical wharncliffe edge with a fine point and snaps into the open and closed position quickly and securely.
