Rough Ryder Swing Guard Small 18

This is a lovely little knife, and pretty versatile. Razor sharp out of the box, good looking, with a novel mechanism. Actually, the mechanism isn't new, it's just slightly enhanced due to the titular 'swing guard' that's deployed when you open it up. I almost expected it to be a bit fiddly, but not at all. The integrity of the knife isn't affected by the slightly odd design. It gets a big thumbs up from me. Based on my experience with this Rough Rider, I'd definitely but an RR again. Quality, style, and very affordable. I'm not a knife geek, or knowledgeable regarding types and strengths of steel, but this impressed me.

Decent small swing guard (cheetah) pattern knife. Fit and finish are pretty decent. If you want a good usable swing guard knife for a collection, that's your choice!

If you are looking for something classic yet with a touch of extravagance, you may safely pick this folding knife. The lock is solid and the blade is sharp. The swinguard is a nice addition (although, like most folders of this kind, the guards have the tendency to wobble). It is elegant and it goes well both with casual as well as formal clothes. Despite its rather small size, it is comfortable to use.

Beautiful little knife. A great addition to my collection. Comes very sharp out the box. Fit and finish is great for the price. Don't know if I'd want to put it through any heavy duty use but it looks gorgeous. HH's service is impeccable as always got it the next day with only the standard postage.
