Historically the cotton sampler knife was used by cotton buyers to judge the quality of cotton by rolling small pieces of material on the section before the blade. Still used in some areas of the States, Rough Rider produced this item as a collectors piece with historical significance.
The blade is 440 stainless steel with "Ram's Horn" artwork engraved onto one side. The handle is, obviously, Ram's Horn, with nickle silver bolsters.
The blade is non-locking and is under 7.6cm long making it a UK friendly carry knife.
