Never underestimate the worth of a penknife in your pocket or the quality to price ratio that Rough Rider provides.
The Rough Rider Muskrat is a lovely knife with two slimline, clip point blades. Both are non-locking and have a precision slip joint that snaps the blade back into the handle. The smooth white bone handle scales are a nice addition to a very, very nice penknife.

Ordered yesterday got it today. Cheers! Larger than I expected, longer than a standard Victorinox and provides a four-finger grip. My scales aren't as impressive as those in the picture, having numerous black flecks but they are smooth with no cracks round the rivets nor gaps or steps between the scales and metal parts. There's no gaps between springs, very good at this or any price, and both blades are straight, well-centred and sharp. It's a well-finished large-ish pocket knife. If I had bought it for skinning muskrats, though, a shorter blade would be more useful as it's a bit of a stretch to back the tip with your finger. It is possibly on the heavy side for EDC for which I have a RR peanut, but is an excellent knife and pretty much flawless. NB I had a white bone RR Barlow which I dropped and the scales broke, so for a more robust piece I would go for RRs synthetic scales.
Fantastic knife for the money ,it came sharp out of the box ,Iv had plenty of knifes over the years and iv got to say you really can't go wrong with this knife no flaws that I can see at all and normally when you are buying a knife at this price there are a few
